I'm a Las Vegas-born theatre artist and educator with experience spanning stage, film, directing, and private instruction. I believe the performing arts offer something valuable to everyone: the opportunity to develop confidence, connect with others, and discover new possibilities within ourselves.
I began performing at a young age after an elementary school music teacher "discovered" me and encouraged me to audition for Showbiz Kids, a youth performance troupe in Las Vegas, Nevada. From there, my love of all aspects of performance grew. I went on to graduate from the Las Vegas Academy of Performing Arts as a theatre major and later earned a BFA in Musical Theatre from Webster University.
After college, I moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting, working on short films and as a background performer in feature films and television. While I eventually realized that life in Los Angeles wasn't my dream, my time there led me to discover another passion: teaching.
While working at the Apple Store, I began providing one-on-one instruction and discovered both a natural ability to communicate information and a deep appreciation for helping others develop their skills. I found tremendous fulfillment in watching people gain confidence, overcome challenges, and discover what they were capable of achieving.
My husband and I eventually moved to Northern California to start our family, and it was there that I returned to my first love: live theatre. My first role back on stage after several years working in film and television was Maureen in RENT, a show I had loved since I was a teenager. I went on to perform in several other productions throughout Northern California while also gaining experience producing and directing a series of community cabaret fundraisers.
The next chapter of my artistic journey took me to Janesville, Wisconsin, where I had the opportunity to contribute to the revival of the local theatre scene following the COVID-19 pandemic. During my time there, I performed with a variety of theatre companies and expanded my work as a producer, director, acting instructor, and dialect coach. These experiences deepened my appreciation for the collaborative nature of theatre and reinforced my love of helping performers grow.Â
In 2026, my family and I made the decision to leave Wisconsin and return home to Henderson, Nevada, to be closer to family (and enjoy a little more sunshine and a lot less snow!).
I'm excited to reconnect with the community where my artistic journey began, share what I've learned along the way, and continue growing as both an artist and an educator.
